| You need more anti-heavy infantry firepower. Whirlwinds and flamers will not kill marine equivalents.
Also, 2 missile launchers and a dreadnought is not sufficient anti-tank.
Lose the flamers in favor of something higher strength & lower AP where you can. |

| Agreed. Ixnay the flamers. You aren't going to want them with your Sternguard. _________________ Oh...By the way... did you know Dragons can charge 20"? I didn't!

A pair of Heavy Flamers inside a Drop Pod is gold.

| I'm interested to see how the ironclad works out for you, or whether you'd be better off with a regular dread with an assault cannon.
This list will probably lose to a three land raider list, but I think that it's ok to have one rock list to you scissors.
After looking at the latest GT results, I think pretty soon people will have to begin tailoring lists just as much to Ork Eq as they do M Eq, and this list should give orks some fun flamers to dance in. _________________ 13th company record: 14/7/1 |

If he goes up against a 3 LR list.....then the person he is playing must not be interested in winning. LOL That's like taking 2 monoliths and 10 destryoers on a Necron list.....wait....I did that....my BAD!
Isn't the entire idea of 5th ED based around troops? Scoring units only?? This made me drop some heavy hitters....however.....having 2 Sentinals with Lascannons running around....yeah....I got it covered.... _________________ Disclaimer: Everything I say is meant to be used in a fun and joking manner. | Many of the space marines lists will have troop units in those raiders, especially space wolves and black templars.
Even two land raiders would be tricky as he'll need to get the ironclad into close combat to destroy them. _________________ 13th company record: 14/7/1 |
