Obliterators are the way to go, I run 2 squads of three and they are devastating, can shoot and kill any target, can run if necessary, best fire support for chaos and now with plasma cannons being better what a value. As Dume said don't deep strike them keep them on the table shooting every turn.

I didn't realize they have every heavy weapon on them. That is pretty nifty. Still expensive, and deep striking them is not a very good idea.

You need more mobility, land raiders are good as they can act as a transport plus giving great protection and fire support, raptors can be a good choice but you need to be careful with them. I'm currently experimenting with some chaos bikers for that last turn turbo boost to contest objectives.
