My contribution is this: Seeing as the IG has Valhalla already.. I would suggest something possibly originating from there... HAve the Dwarfs come from the eye of terror too, immune to Chaos schtuff.
But then the orks eat them all!!!
Casuse that is whats gonna happen! More meat on the Bone!!! LOL the dwarves will never survive in 40K I will personally see to it that every last stuntie created or thought of is tracked down and slaughtered by Orks!!!

Have fun creating dinner for the Orks lol lol!

just because your my brother, your a complete friggin ass. Though I do have to say that the whole idea does seem viable. But then one would have to come up with how they have managed to survive in the eye without being seen and being consumed.

IMMUNE TO CHAOS!!!
No one goes into teh eye of terror unless they are:
1: Chaos
2: Space Wolves
3: Stupid/Ignorant (orks)

Largely unexplored if I'm not mistaken.
Still gonna get eaten by Orks!

Unless of course you wanted to play along with the Dwarfs are hidden in plain sight. ie they have been away from their homeworld so long that they are no longer stunty. They were inducted a long time ago as a Marine like chapter or IG and just look normal now... But the calling has begun bringing their brethren home into the eye of terror and thats why they are now popping up.
A few "stunties" still exist here and there but the main force of the short ones is in the Eye.

So the Dverga, would be a race that live in the eye of terror a.k.a. Auga Hræzla in norse, who are immune to the effects of Chaos. We could call those brethren that are coming home Iotna's as that is the term for the giants in norse. They could be reinstated in the civilization. Having the runes of calling have started calling them back.

Its amazing how quickly this forum died out. I guess that explains why we cant see dwarfs in space.
