| They were, but then they were eaten by the Tyranids. _________________ Insanity is only measured by those around you.

| yes they were but I would like to get a generated story line thats worth a damn and submit it to GW. Maybe its futile. The only way to find out is to try. Thats why I would like to work collabritively with people to try and come up with a decent story line for where they came from how they have been missed all this time, and what their whole beliefs are. I would figure with sticking to the whole norse theme, and then work off of that. _________________ TAU 1750 ARMY Wins - 2 Losses - ∞ Draws - 1

| What i figured was that we could try to come up with a story line that didnt involve the squats, use places where exploration is dangerous so most people wouldnt be there. WE could use the density of a planet along with the spacial anomalies to explain why they are short and why they havent been seen. _________________ TAU 1750 ARMY Wins - 2 Losses - ∞ Draws - 1

| If your going along those lines make their homeworld a sector or w/e thats gravity is so dense that only extremely tough rock and physice can stand it. Then talk about their crafting and what not and maybe how they remember old technology that mankind's lost...etc, etc....that kinda jazz _________________ Empire...slowly but surely **** Vanilla Marines Combat Strategy: Lose Player Who I've Lost Most To:altahara Favorite Loss: Blinga Nids |

Yea thats what I was going to do. I figured we could work it in that their technology was a like the the space marines, say they were the ones who taught the humans how to craft their specialty weapons. Stuff like that. So who would want to get together and sit down and come up with a story. Also we would need someone that can draw really good to get a great story board. _________________ TAU 1750 ARMY Wins - 2 Losses - ∞ Draws - 1

| I wanna move this story away from squats. That way people can see them for a new race away from the old western looking squats. I would really like to involve as much norse mythology as possible into creating this race. _________________ TAU 1750 ARMY Wins - 2 Losses - ∞ Draws - 1

| The real problem you are going to have with using Norse/Viking is that you are getting really really really close to Space Wolves. Since they are all about that goodness! (It's the reason I play them!) _________________ Warhammer Fantasy Overlord

| Thats not a problem that could help add some dimensions to the game. I could tie them in with how they were hidden. Like I said I want make it so it seems that in the older days of humanity they learned their ways from these guys but after a split they have gone their seperate ways but have things incommon due to this. _________________ TAU 1750 ARMY Wins - 2 Losses - ∞ Draws - 1

| I believe I would like to tie in the story Awaking Angantyr. It involves the wakening of a fallen member to receive a mighty sword. I believe this could be away to add more depth into a story. _________________ TAU 1750 ARMY Wins - 2 Losses - ∞ Draws - 1
