| Ciaphas Cain is hilarious. Well worth it.
The BA books being some of the worst is word of mouth. I spend a lot of time on forums, so read a lot of opinions (but after all that, they are still just opinions). The dawn of war books are also pretty much considered some of the worst.
I read a few pages in the store and felt like they were pretty standard "war porn" BL material, like a lot of 40k books
Double eagle was really good, that book really really made me want the thunderbolt pilot figure. Too bad he is expensive as hell to get a hold of now!
I should read Scourge of the Heretic. I'll get to that in a month or so... finally have some non-40k books to get through. If you want inspiration for a Dark Heresy campaign (or a look at the Underbelly of the imperium) then look no further than the aforementioned Eisenhorn series. It's not just a good 40k book... it's a good book period (which really can't be said for most 40k novels).
One of the scenes takes place on a giant walking city, They live all over the cities back and on the underbelly. As punishment in the city you are hung in a cage from the underbelly until you starve or bake in the sun! Yeesh! _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| firewarrior is easily the worst of the worst
after that I think it's the Dawn of War ones
Then the Black Templar ones on Armageddon (damnation crusade and the other one)
and lastly the Blood Angels ones. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

I read a chapter of Blood Bowl in the store, pretty awful imo. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)
