| I didn't see a lot of interest posted behind my offer but here it is again.
I'd be willing to host a terrain build day over a Saturday at my house. I'd provide the materials (1 Cities of Death Imperial sector, 1 City of Death Imperial City, Flock, glue, balast, plasticard, hardboard, Plaster, hirst kits, paints, sand etc).
I'd also provide food and drink for the tired and thirsty participants.
I'd like those who show (or don't) to chip in for materials - think church donation - whatever you can afford considering how much use you'd get out of the terrain. (Even if 20 persons show @ $10 each this is well short of the cost of the materials.)
Please log a vote. If you have an issue with the terrainapalooza please log it.

My biggest issue is where do we store it?
LGS or CAG member. There are issue with both. _________________

| As far as where to store terrain, my opinion is thus:
Create two categories of terrain - Really awesome, expensive, time consuming terrain that looks fantastic and is kept with CAG members and
-Terrain that looks good, but not great, such that the creator won't feel like crying after it gets abused at a LGS. _________________ 13th company record: 14/7/1 |

| I would just need a bit of advanced notice to clear a Saturday, but otherwise I'm in. I'll gladly donate to the cause and the beverage stock.
Not sure we can trust our creations at a LGS

| Definitely need advance notice for this but I wouldn't mind helping. It could help my painting technique as well D I am out of town the first weekend in August if you can avoid that Saturday. If not, totally understand. _________________

| If it happens after I return (probably too long ) I'll be there.
As that probably wouldn't and shouldn't happen I'll just donate (you have a paypal right JG?)
Other than that, i'll offer advice on what should be built imo.
With the area terrain we already have (all the trees and low ruins etc) we have enough intervening terrain. We really need some big LOS blocking stuff. Now not so huge that it is impossible to play on, but you get the idea. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| | I'm definatly game, just depends on the time. I work either Saturday morning or evening and it flips each week. If I can make it, I'll be there. |

6x12, 12 x 12, 8x8? In that range? _________________

| I'd say a mish mash of sizes, but nothing too much larger than 12"x12"... at least for this kind of build (bunch of terrain for our boards, instead of a big feature).
So some 6x12", some 12"x12" and some 8"x8" _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| I think Matt was also referring to the height of the terrain. Low walls and areas of ruins are good, but we also need to throw a bone to the treadheads and have a few pieces that can either give cover to, or completely block a vehicle. _________________ 13th company record: 14/7/1 |

| Yeah thanks John, we have low area terrain covered (we all have a ton of area terrain from 4th).
We need some taller, big terrain blockers.
I'm thinking some of the imperial city stuff mixed with some tubing (silo type things) _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| Just an FYI:
Here at Sci-Fi City I have 2 4x4 sheets of MDF from when we had pegboard delivered to the store.
Just let me know when someone wants to make terrain here with it.
