Question....

Are there any rules stating that you can't like use scout models as Stormtroopers???? Just curious if there would be flak for this. I was thinking of yousing scout troops or even SM's Tac squads with reg heads as Stormtroopers for GK army.....would this be acceptable.....Converted of course. I'm working on more conversions now.

I don't see why it would be a problem. I mean, especially because the stormtrooper models are so old. I use a box of kiskirn for my stormtroopers because they're nice and armoured up.

Like Wittdooley stated the Kaskrin work well for GK stormtroopers. Thats what GW suggests using on the UK website.

I have the kaskrin stormtroopers for my GK. Like previously stated, it's what GW suggests to use. Shouldn't be a problem to use the converted scouts, they're all basic humans, not Astartes.

gw says you can use any model as any model as long as it is converted and you clearly state what it is... saw someone convert space marines into Storm Troopers (star wars kind) lemon russ as AT Ats.. and sentinels into AtSts.. but he had WAY too much time on his hands...

As long as you use the correct weapons on the models (hellguns i think) and make sure your opponent is aware of waht is going on... shouldn't be a problem at all.

if you looked through that macharian crusade thing, there were pictures of some well converted space marine scout/stormtroopers, try checking it out for inspiration
