| The trees are sitting in a box at my parents house.
but to be honest they are pretty useless in 5th. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| I think a tree here and there might look good for effect, but forests are just annoying now imo. _________________ 13th company record: 14/7/1 |

| cover isn't still cover when you get a 4+ from the unit in front of you. Better to use our terrain to build things that actually impact the game. Trees and forests are in the past my friend. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| Kroot should be coming in from the sides and causing mayhem. Keep your Fire Warriors in the Devilfish for scoring Seriously, the Devilfish APC is silly tough now. _________________ 2nd place is the 1st loser

What!? What else do you do with them? ld7 t3 s3 i3 no save. You bring them out of cover and they are toast. I can't see anything but a couple of big squads to sit on objectives or speed bump.
It will take a while for terrain to catch up to 5th, so you got your trees for a little bit. Especially at my hizouse. |

| nah man, use them to outflank and hit heavy weapon squads in the backfield. At least that is how I see them being used now.
Coming in from the board edges and hitting slow moving/static squads. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

I hear ya! Maybe, I was thinking more Stealths for that role. Kroot are just so unimpressive on the charge most of the time. With hounds they do OK.
I really want a few bases of those new platic Citadel woods. They would block LOS pretty decent. |

| yeah, if trees are going to be used i see them being really crowded with brush or more trees. Thing is, if ANY of the model can be seen... it can be shot now. Kind of annoying as far as re-tooling our terrain goes.
On a side note, you think about running your army as actual Black Templar again? They are set to be completely terrifying until their codex gets redone (a.k.a a long ass time) _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

Definitely. I used them as BT's in 4th as well. Just not so much cause our group tends to powergame, and they don't hold up so well.
That said, I don't think they are going to be that crazy in 5th. I just think they are going to be better than all the other Marines, you know cheap drop pods 2 ass cannons and all that crap. You got to figure they are pretty marginal against most armies now. While 5th will give them a few benefits, I still think they will suffer from a lot of the 4th issues.
Ork Hordes, Bugs, and Eldar will still give them fits. |

| | 3 squads of SB Assault Terminators with RZ, the new run movement, and some Vows does sound pretty interesting. |

| Not sure man, large squads of scoring troops (who can whittle down two squads of 20 MEQ's to nothing?) add run and their righteous zeal, and you get one of the fastest armies in 5th (for all footsloggers) and they pack a bunch of nasty once they get there.
Oh and to top it all off, you can give the entire army Preferred Enemy... in 5th, that means they ALL re-roll misses in close combat. If that doesn't make them a top tier army, not sure what does. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 22 (The Dark Angels wiped some silly pod marines) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| Oh I hear you.
Try chasing (RZ) jet bikes, super cheap rhinos, and now little harassing units that come in from the side edge around all game.
No more extra CCW attacks for PF. No Terminator Honors for Vet. Sgt\'s, the new counter charge deal, and most importantly, No consolidating into new units.
They will be cool, I totally agree, but top tier I don\'t know.
I think we are supposed to be talking about terrain. Silly us.
