| Ok, since my post before ended at 8/8 campaign versus tournament...
I have decided to do a campaign... Still working up the full rules, but here goes:
There will be 4 factions, imperial, chaos, 'evil' aliens, and 'neutral' aliens.. of course if we get 9 space marine players and 2 eldar.. well then it will be odd..
there will be a map of the galaxy, with planets worth a certain number of resources, travel lanes between them, and certain fleet markers..
It will cost resources to upkeep, build, and move fleets..
There will be captains for each faction, and the captains must be able to meet on the day in question.. (Mondays for now) at approx 6ish or so will be the beginning of each game turn.. this gives a week for each player to get in their game..
results should be emailed to their captain and the captain should email me...
I would like everyone who plays to sign up and yes... pay $10 to go toward prizes for the wining faction... Im hoping to get 12 people so the prizes will be $25 gift card for first place faction, and $15 for the second...
If i have more people great.. but at least 8 is what id like minimum..
August 18th is when i would like to start this.. so meet at the Illuminati at 6 so we can form teams, discuss the full rules, elect captains and begin the first turn. Please PM me with your sign up and the armies you have.. multiple armies will have the option to play in one faction or another... also if we have more of one than another.. i/e 5 imperial and 3 Evil alien... etc I will play if there is an odd number of players.. and i will forefiet my share of the prizes if my faction wins..
Sign up sheet: 1. John Gemrich : SM 2. wittdooley: SM 3. LUPUSGHOST : Eldar (Yes first alien) 4.Danny: Chaos 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. _________________ Dark Eldar

| Also, the players who are assigned to play against an opponent do not have to fight the battle at the illuminati, they merely need to get the instructions from their captains, contact the opponent and fight within the week.. Just as long as i know by the monday who won... _________________ Dark Eldar

| What kind of point we looking at is escalation or just a standard point value all the way through? and use same base army then buy destroyed units back.
Then reason I ask is I have a chaos army I am would like to play but model selection is varied. _________________

| | Will there be any mega battles to serve as high points of the campaign? I'm thinking Apocalypse style here. |

| the 'fleets' markers that move around the board are worth 1750.. it is not a set army list, i believe that in a real fleet there would be sufficient men/tanks to field varied lists.. if the fleet is destroyed then it is gone, destroyed by loosing the game.. I am thinking of having experience points also and a way to revive the dead fleet with 50% xp..
and as far as apocalypse, anytime there are 3+ fleets battling 3+ fleets it can be apocalypse.. of if both players agree in 2 on 2 fleets.. _________________ Dark Eldar

No Shizzle. It's taken 5 days to clean the mold lines, file and wash all the pieces.
I really don't have a game plan for painting yet.
This kit was the reason I bought the SM army. He need something for him to stomp around the table with. _________________
