Do Chaos Icons have to be actually modeled? I mean if so it sucks becuase that pretty much means you have to use the same icon every time and can't switch it up per battle. Also if so could I make a unidentifying** Icon that can be what Icon I want it to be (since in the rules an icon is never shown or described in the actual rules part)

Icons aren't necessarily a banner. An icon could be just a symbol on their armor or a symbol hanging around their neck or waist. For example, my Inquisitor lord has icon of the just. To represent this I modeled the Inquisition symbol on the breastplate of his armor. On my khorne term lord, his icon is a decal I put on his shoulder pad.

Make an Icon that depicts each of the four gods.

Try to use the chaos star in the symbol somewhere, then create your own symbol to go with it to represent your army. Make sure it's not leaning towards any certain power if you want to change it up alot.
