can you have a maximum of 10 men in a command squad total, or can you have 10 men plus the HQ.

command squads are 4-9 men + a character. They can also have librarians and chaplains attached to them. But only one of each character type.

So the max size would be 12.

Commander + 9 men + Chaplain + Librarian

I don't know about the DA/BA codex but the regular Marine dex says a Serg and 4-9 marines, so that would be 10 men plus HQ's.

Whoops, so it does.

So that is sergeant + 9 men + Commander + Libby + Chaplain as the max size.

I thought thats what i allowed but wanted to make sure. Tryign to tweak my list since i'm spending mass points on veteran marines who do nothign but eat lead. Lots and lots of lead..... Evil or Very Mad

. Got a tip to try out a command squad with a commander so am trying to work that out.
