Are kroot mercenaries tournoment legal this year???

I think it depends on what tournament. I believe they are legal at adepticon 2008.

They were legal at the gt's last year as well, however, with the upcoming scout rules and the anticipated reduction in the amount of tanks being played, They will become at least reasonably competative. I use reasonably loosely but unbelievable compared to what they were.

If you are thinking of making a list for them I'd rethink it, armies like this tend not survive GW's re-release processes Sad

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Kroot.. just not a whole army of them.

Don't get me wrong, they would suck. But if they remain legal, and on mission where infiltrate is allowed it would be a blast since they can be made i4 and can infiltrate everything D6 closer than 18 inches and reroll for first turn. Any of their shapers can take eviscerators, and about half of their squads can fleet or have wings.
