LOS with Fire Toads

Still pending "Offical" answers. What is your take on this:

asked this question in the other forum and wasn't satisfied with the answer I received, as no one pointed to anything official.

According to the rulebook, AFV's block LOS. No problem there.

But situations occur where firetoads are obscured by other firetoads within the same unit. According to the Rulebook, Figures in the same unit don't block other members of the unit.

We've always played that firetoads blocked by members of their own unit can see past them. In the other forum I'm being told such is not the case. I wanted an official ruling.
