2000 point skaven list

ok here is my 2k skaven list Im working on(cant field it yet but this is my goal I am going to work towards) giveing per unit points costs to help with giveing advice on how to improve, This is based on the Clan skyre list

Few notes, each warplock gets 3 dice to use warplightnigh(only spell they can get all the warp stuff giveing it to them and the extra d6), the eye of the horned rat adds a d6 on a roll 2-6 loses one on a 1, and the bell adds 2 power dice to the grey seer, and magic resistance 2 plus immune to psychology to the unit it is in, has a ward save of 3+ and gives the grey seer a 5+ armour save due to ridieng on a chariot rule.

Also Im not postive on how many dispell dice I get off this list help there would be nice and if I messed up on points please let me know I feel like my army is slightly small

I don't know how to help, but if the # of DD is the same as 6th edition then: 2 DD base (4 for dwarves), +1 for every level one or two wizard in the army, +2 for every level three or four wizard in the army. And remember that dispel scrolls are useful if you're worried about not having enough dispel dice (remember what happened to Cal's meteor on Sat?)

The problem is half my points are sunk into the heros/lord as it is which is the only problem I can see with this list(unless I fail my leadership which I tend to do) Thanks for the info on DD intill toled otherwise I updated my list based off it.

why not take a little bit of power out of your lord and more into cool gadgets like the gatling gun thing and the flamer or even the cannon... you just need a little more power thats all.

i think the warlord is a bit expensive but idk maybe im looking at the wrong person

Clan Skyre without a WLC ..tsk

I would go with the Warlord as my HQ as the higher Leadership is gold.

I'd also think about a BSB to be placed center for those LD rerolls.

You should be fine with 2 Warlocks, WLC and Jezzails. You shouldn't be shooting past turn 3 anyways as targets, line of sight may be hard to come by with all your moving parts.

ya thats a big thing in fantasy... its os hard to shot at a certain point according to who you are playing. so don't go too hard onon the shooting ok.

Huh? what is all the short stuff(wlc is warp lighting cannon) as for the warlord....yuck greyseer would kill him, the most expecive part is the bell which as some great abilties, but yea i might just drop the 3rd warlock and use it to add more troops(maybe drop the gutter runners and the rat swarm and swap for 2 cannons and some apres points....about 25 points spare

that sounds like a good idea but if you get too much troops, even i fantasy, someone will make a numbers proof army. like this saying....

Thats the point of the cannons and the 2 or 3 warlocks and the grey seer to kill the super tough people with warp lightning plague or the bell to break them with leadership tests every turn I roll a 13 for the bell

i understand the cannon but what if you can't get a spell off... it might be good to add more rat ogres.

Rat Orges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they have no save a 5 leadership and cant manage to get themselves though anything the few times I have had to use them peopleeither ignore them till I charge and lose or kill them as a after thought. Im thinking maybe add drop the pistols on the warlocks to free up some points so I could switch the wlc over from the night runners without loseing the rat swarm

Ok so I played around with my list and tryed droping the spears and that gives me enough to swap over the wlc's from the night runners and add another rat swarm without giving anything up and I have 17 spare points not sure what to throw them at....is dropping the spears worth it?
