Dark Elves

I am trying to figure out the best course to getting an army of Dark Elves up to 2250 an having a competitive list. I already plan on buying the battalion and spearhead box sets. That will get me the army book and the following

30 black ark corsairs
10 knights on cold ones
1 hydra
1 assassin
1 lokhir fellheart
1 dread lord
1 supreme sorceress on cold one
1 supreme sorceress
12 DA warriors spear and shield
16 DA warriors with repeater crossbow

I'm sure that I wont be using all the items in here but I would like to know what the core items are that I should pick up. I have read over GWs tactics section of their website and have a few ideas. For instance I want a group of witchs and some harpies to fly behind units and prevent em from marching. I am going to add another bolt thrower to the mix (of course). I plan on putting the supreme sorceress in a large unit of grunts give her sacrificial dagger. The other sorceress will stay close to one of the cold one knight groups and use soul stealer to beat up enemy calv to make them easier targets for the rest of the knights.

What is the composition ratio for how many troop, core etc that I can use at 2250?

4 max characters (lords or heroes)
1 max lords (many of your characters count as both a lord and hero choice)
3+ core
0-4 special
0-2 rare
