| Is this a faction that can play both 40K, and Warhammer Fantasy?
What makes this Army so special. Is it just because of the new releases, or somthing else? _________________ 8500AP RED BLOK AT-43 3000AP Therians AT-43 4000AP Griffins Confrontation Vampire Counts complete set 2500AP Dwarfs Warhammer 1000AP Karmans War at Sea, Task Force Almost a Full collection |

| The Deamon blisters generally come with round and square bases. The same models are used for both games.
Up until the Storm of Chaos world wide campaign as an army Deamons pretty much sucked. Combat res and just a few sad rolls killed their pricy units way too fast. Even their units weren't so hot as the jucy Chaos Warrriors/Knights. |

| Yes the new army will be used in both versions of warhammer. You will need the bases to be interchangeable if you want to use the same models though. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 23 (Belial helped wreck Ryan's puny Eldar) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| I assume Bruce is meaning that he doubts the competitiveness of the armies, but I find that a little premature before anyone has played with either one.
In the past Chaos Demon armies (especially in Fantasy) have been viewed as weaker. |

If thats the case, I will have to wait and see if they are anygood, before any purchases are made. _________________ 8500AP RED BLOK AT-43 3000AP Therians AT-43 4000AP Griffins Confrontation Vampire Counts complete set 2500AP Dwarfs Warhammer 1000AP Karmans War at Sea, Task Force Almost a Full collection |

| Just to chime in about Daemons (bored at work...it's Friday...screw hackin' code!)...and note my discussion is based on the Demonic Legion list from Storm of Chaos...not played the Daemon Army out of the new codex/armybook yet!
First I have to say, that Daemon are not weak at all...I ran a Khorne Demon list with a great deal of effectiveness.
I took the list up against some pretty stupid lists, like the all Knight Errant Bret list (can you say retarded????), a Dwarf gun line, multiple steam tank Empire army, and the Slann Lizardman stupidness!
The thing that makes daemons difficult for some is that you have to pay attention to your opponent and make awesome decisions. They require a lot more work than most of your "standard" chaos lists.
Daemons (except Tzeentch) were awesome out of Daemonic Legion. Actually, they were one of the strongest lists out there.
I am just sad that I cannot field Juggernaut Chariots as Rares! Nothing like a Unit Strength 5 Frenzied chariot of hate hitting you in the flank!
[edit...wanted to talk more...]
The question I have for people doubting the Daemons is this...what is their problem?
I ran demons with Heralds, and they ended up with Leadership 10...not that bad, if you ask me. Sure I got in trouble sometimes...and every army is beatable. For Khorne, the Banner that allows people to keep Frenzy is a must.
Playing Daemons requires more than just models crossing the table. They need support through banners and magic items, and characters.
Every daemon army (pre new stuff) needs a Greater Daemon. Without one is like taking a "regular" army without a Lord Choice. Sure it's expensive...but nothing scares an opponent like a BloodThirster charging into his lines and eating up units by himself.
Khorne is awesome! _________________ Warhammer Fantasy Overlord

Would every much like to see how they've changed. |
