| So I almost bought the 200 dollar box of dwarves and the batallion yesterday. think that would be a good start for an army?
Other than that, I may hold out for the new chaos mortal army book. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 23 (Belial helped wreck Ryan's puny Eldar) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| If dwarves are what you want then I would say definitely yes. It has a good amount of warriors and cannons and the thunderers. Just need a leader and some slayers and you would be set. _________________ TAU 1750 ARMY Wins - 2 Losses - ∞ Draws - 1

| Dwarfs are cool. I like the buffs on antimagic they have. the runes kick ass. And they may be slow, but can take a ton of abuse! _________________ Disclaimer: Everything I say is meant to be used in a fun and joking manner. Can't deal with it? Grow a ball sack!

| Yeah, i'll grab the runelord model too.
Figured they might be a quick way to get into the game again. Then I'll probably do chaos when the new book comes out. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 23 (Belial helped wreck Ryan's puny Eldar) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| I always liked the slayers, they are a pretty good bunch to charge on a units flank with. _________________ TAU 1750 ARMY Wins - 2 Losses - ∞ Draws - 1

| Yeah, they'd be an expensive unit with them being all metals. Probably worth it though, i want to include a unit. _________________ Dark Angels 1750 win/loss Record Win - 23 (Belial helped wreck Ryan's puny Eldar) Loss - 13 (Brice's Necrons wiped me) Draw - 2 (The 13th hold out in alpha take and hold)

| Well if I can get enough points assembled and painted I'll be playing Dwarfs at the tournament as well.
And I think I need to pick up a runelord as well. So far I've played low enough points values that magic hasn't been a big deal, but pretty soon I'll need to spend points to bolster the magic defenses.
Maybe I'll be able to pick up your table scraps if you switch to chaos too _________________ 13th company record: 14/7/1 |

| Skaven vs. Dwarfs is one of the most fun matchups in Fantasy IMO.
Extra fast versus extra slow
High T and armor versus Low T and armor.
Both have decent shooting and melee capabilities.
It really ends up depending on manuevering and the fickle skaven contraptions. If they roll awesome you're probably going to lose. If they blow themselves up you win, and if they go average it defaults to generalship mostly. _________________ 13th company record: 14/7/1 |

| The funnier part was the conga-line gutter runners. That is such a dumb rule...
In general I like that they got rid of the lap around the edges move in both Fantasy and 40K, but in that situation it would be a benefit. _________________ 13th company record: 14/7/1 |
