| | ok what is the ranks rule(how many per rank) I have read almost the whole skaven codex and have not found were it says how many rats are in each rank, though in all the pictures they show ranks of 5. My other question for ranks is how my gaint rats can be set for ranks as the only picture I have found for it shows a incomplete unit. |

| In order to get a rank bonus the units formation must be at least five models wide. for each rank beyond the firast _________________ The footprints made in the sands of time are not made by sitting down... Unless your playing Warhammer WAAAGH!

| How many of the units that you can take really have a maximum value. 'Cause in most of the books I have looked at there are usually only a few units that have a maximum value. _________________ Insanity is only measured by those around you.

| | You may arrange your models any way your heart desires, from 30 person wide fronts 1 deep to 1 wide and 15 models back. However ranks must be at least 5 wide in order to gain the rank bonus in combat. Therefore it is usually foolish to make your units narrower than 5. However it is sometimes advantageous to make them wider. For instance if you can get more attacks in as corners count, and if they have bows or something, more models will be able to see to shoot. |
